Mackenzie wins grant of up to $100,000 through BCAA Play Here

Mackenzie has officially been announced as one of the winners of the BCAA Play Here contest!

This means that John Dahl Park in Mackenzie will receive up to $100,000 worth of funding to help improve the existing playground!

The winnings will allow John Dahl Park to become home to an all ages appropriate playground.

With a skate park already in place, the people of Mackenzie want to ensure there is an attraction for kids of any age!

Mackenzie was one of the top three winners along with Cache Creek Elementary school playground in Thompson-Okanagan and Ecole North Oyster School on Vancouver Island.
