The music world and beyond was shaken by the news of Chester Bennington’s passing on July 20th.
The Linkin Park lead man’s untimely death came just a few days after the band filmed an episode of ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with actor Ken Jeong.
Following the tragedy, ‘Carpool Karaoke’ creator and late night host James Corden deferred the choice of whether the episode would still air to Bennington’s family.
While no official statement was made about the decision, it appears that the family has given the go ahead for the episode to air.
Linkin Park revealed on Facebook that not only will the episode air, but you’ll be able to watch it in less than a week.
“Carpool Karaoke – this time next week,” said the band’s Facebook post from Thursday at 8 a.m. “Streaming for free right here on Facebook.”
With one of Hollywood’s most lovable actors in Jeong joining the band for the ride, next week’s episode will be a must watch for even the most casual Linkin Park fan.
