Kyle Sampson is the first resident to announce City Council candidacy

Kyle Sampson has just announced that he will be running for a seat on the Prince George City Council.

On Wednesday, Sampson gave his official announcement speech at the Civic Centre in front of over 150 people.

After the speech, Sampson took to social media to describe what he will be advocating for during his campaign.

According to his online post, people, sustainability and community development will be the three key aspects to focus on.

“I look forward to earning your vote over the next 128 days,” writes Sampson.

Voting is set to take place on October 20, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
