For the last swim meet of this decade Kelowna Aquajets had 76 represent the club at the MJB Ice Classic in Kamloops. The club swam to a second-place finish overall for the meet.
Para swimmer Patrick Waters set a new Canadian record in the Men’s 100 breast on his road to making Team Canada’s Paralympic Team for Tokyo 2020.
Liam Chew set two new club records for 10 and under boys in 100 breast and 400 IM. Erin Epp set new records in the 50 & 200 breast in the 15-17 girls and the Open girls division.

Kelsey Fillion broke two club records for the 15-17 yr old girls in both the 50 free & fly. Aiden Kirk broke club records for 11-12 yr old boys in 200, 400 and 800 free, set a new record in the 200 back & the 200 IM while Abigail Jerome broke club records in both the 50 & 100 fly for 13-14 yr old girls.
The swimmers who swam to 100% best times were Avery Deis, Tuja Dreyer, Tim Novitski, Andrew Hwang, Justin Kim, Joshua Yoon, Liam Collie, Flynn Huber, Rachel McInnes, Jacklyn Pengilly, Patrick Waters, Oliver Dickieson, Abigail Jerome, Nica Robertson, Kodi Wiman, Leonie Klimas, Aomsin Nimsombun and Cameron Yakimchuk.
Swimmers who were just shy of 100% best times were Ethan Gray, Courtney Pequin, Kaleigh Reese, Madison Seeley, Avery Simpson, Juliet Nicholson, Mila Wall, Scott Watson, Dakota Wiman, Jared Moore, Nathaniel Hees, Cameron Chambers, Kelsey Fillion, Erin Epp and Daniil Savelev.

It was gold for the 14 & Under Mixed FreeRelay made up of Abigail Jerome, Jared Moore, Avery Simpson and Aiden Kirk and gold for the 14 & Under Mixed Medley with Liam Collie (back), Meagan Corrigan (breast), Abigail Jerome (fly) and Jared Moore (free).
The 12 & Under Mixed Free Relay consisting of Sawyer Nabozniak, Dakota Wiman, Emilie Goliowski and Aiden Kirk, the 15 & Over Mixed Free Relay with Paul Neupert, Kelsey Fillion, Erin Epp and Pierson Piche along with the 15 & Over Mixed Medley Relay with Daniil Savelev (back), Erin Epp (breast), Paul Neupert (fly) and Kelsey Fillion (free) all swam to silver medal finishes.

KAJ’s newest Age Group Provincial qualifiers are Justin Kim and Tuja Dreyer and Abigail Nicholson, Emma Berg, Isla O’Connor, Sarah Courtenay, Kassua Dreyer and Flyn Huber are the newest qualifier for the Provincial Championships.
