InFocus: Wildflower Entertainment – business built on passion, partnership, and community spirit.

At the heart of the company is Cailyn, a long-time Kamloops resident who, alongside her fiancé, has turned a shared love for music and events into a growing entertainment business. With her partner already well-established as a DJ for local clubs and events, it was a natural next step for Cailyn to get involved—and together, they launched Wildflower Entertainment.

“Our goal is to provide top-tier entertainment to our community for events,” says Cailyn. “We love seeing people enjoy themselves and want to grow this business into something that also supports us as a solid secondary income.”

When she’s not helping light up the dance floor, you’ll likely find Cailyn enjoying a quiet moment reading, crocheting, or exploring the lakes and rivers of Kamloops with her beloved dog. (In fact, she says if she could spend the day with anyone in the world, it would be her pup—she hates being away from her during the day!)

Community plays a big role in Cailyn’s life. She and her fiancé often volunteer to help elderly neighbours with groceries, housework, and odd jobs. Supporting local is important to her too: “It strengthens our economy and gives back to our own community,” she says.

Cailyn is inspired daily by the people and world around her: “Life, every day, inspires me to be a better person and to work as a team to make the world a better place.”

Her proudest accomplishment? “Being the best dog mama I can possibly be to my dogs.”

• Her go-to escape? Her own peaceful backyard

• Her bucket list includes travelling the world, seeing the northern lights, and running a marathon

• Her most embarrassing moment? Accidentally getting into someone else’s car—same make and model, wrong vehicle… and someone was sitting in the passenger seat!

Her favourite quote? “It is what it is.”
