Englishman Harrison Scott took an unwanted flight at the Cooper Tires Pro Mazda Grand Prix in Toronto after ramping off the back of an opposing car and flipping upside down onto the tarmac.

In the braking area for Turn Three, RP Motorsport Racing’s Harrison Scott was squeezed between the wall and driver Antonio Serravalle.

The incident forced Scott to lose control before launching off the rear of Sting Ray Robb’s Team Pelfrey car.

The AMR IndyCarSafetyTeam had a rapid response to the crash, eliciting appreciation from fans, hosts and drivers.

Thankfully, the 22-year-old was well enough to walk off of the track unscathed from his battered Tatuus-Mazda PM-18.

Although Scott is medically intact, he has not yet been cleared for racing, reported Pro Mazda on Twitter.
