What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Meeting others who loveto social dance. This is the most fun I've had as an adult. The scene is fresh, fun, welcoming and sexy! I love the tradition of partner style dancing when men take the lead, and the dynamic becomes an unspoken language where two people unite for 3.5 minutes on the dance floor. Dance is inspiring.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
I've always been the one with the crazy ideas! One time I convinced my cousin Carly to use the leftover whip cream canisters from Thanksgiving and go 6 feet above me in the air and spray them into my mouth… GOOD TIMES! 🙂
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I love to use my space "Let's Move Studio" to help out the community. I love being a "YES" person, and if it is not for profit or community oriented in any way I will support it with whatever resources I can share. More recently we donated our space for a Crystal Bowl Meditation in support of the Women's Y Shelter and helped raise $700 and we also hosted 2 sessions of Yoga with Animals with the BCSPCA where we raised a similar amount.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I would ask the world to explore becoming more conscious. I believe this adventure in the exploration of oneself could solve many of the world's problems and we could live healthier and happier lives.
