If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
I would love to meet Tony Robbins. I love how he teaches through emotion and movement. I would love an experience that would shake me up and make a lasting impact!

Honestly, I don't know what kind of awards are out there! I love giving back and helping people so something in that realm would mean a lot to me.

Does Wayne Dyer count as a historical figure? I love his teachings and his books have had a significant impact on me.
Who inspires you?
I am consciously surrounding myself with amazing people. My sisters, my teammates and my husband. Inspiration is everywhere, you just need to be open to it.
What are three things on your bucket list?
1. Going on a helicopter! I love flying and traveling in general but I just have never been on one. If I could, I would love to go in Hawaii because I think that is one of the most beautiful places on earth.. other than Kamloops of course.
2. Go on a big family trip to Bora Bora! I have always wanted to go and have been told its very expensive, hence the setting big goals and going for it!
3. Speak at my business's national convention.
Please tell us about a defining moment in your life.
When I decided to join my network marketing business. I think because it came out of left field for me and it launched my life into a totally new direction.
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
I love making up silly names. Its a fun thing we do in our house like naming all the toys. I would say something like Big Bertha!
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
I have a vision statement for five years from now, it anchors me to the future and the woman I aspire to be everyday. In the day I am at peace, I am surrounded by those I love and I am fulfilling my life's purpose.
What are you passionate about?
Inspiring others to live up to their full potential. Through all of my personal development I know that the best way to do this is to be a role model, for my kids and peers. So I choose to live everyday with intention, to dream big, to be grateful and present, and to spread joy and love to as many people as possible!
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
Everyday is my favourite! I am so grateful for the life I get to wake up to every morning. Each day is a new adventure! If I had to pick one though, it would be my wedding day. I was present, I was calm, I was surrounded by so much love; and we had a lot of FUN!
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Having my kids. I love to set big goals and it feels amazing to achieve them, but my kids bring me a whole new level of joy. They are teaching me to be patient, to be compassionate, and to be conscious.
Where is your favourite place to dine in your city?
With two little kids we don't get out too often, but when we do we love going to Bold. They also have an amazing new breakfast menu and every item is delicious! We can bring out kids or just go solo.

What makes you successful?
Tell us about it. Success is so different to everyone. I believe am successful because I have chosen to step toward my dreams. I love being a mom to my kids, as well as taking the time to grow an international business, and connect and provide inspiration through my blog. I am stepping through fear to have more of what I want in life.
If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
I am really enjoying personal development and blogging. I would love to be trapped with investors in those fields. I would ask how to stay consistent, how to move past blocks and down times, how to build a loyal following and create lasting value. If I could change one thing about the city you live in, it would be: I live on Royal Avenue and its a beautiful part of the city but there is also a lot of garbage and vandalism that happens in our neighbourhood. I would love for there to be a better way to keep the area clean and free from hazardous materials.
What do you think makes your city great?
I think we have big hearts to support each other. I have an incredibly supportive network of people here in Kamloops that I can count on for anything.
My nomination for the In Focus spotlight is:
Natalie Brown.
Some general comments I would like to share are:
I feel like a lot changed when I became a mom, it wasn't just about me anymore. I finally came to the realization that to be the best mom I could be I had to get real with what I wanted. To be a role model and to be a leader I had to get clear, I had to get strong, I had to take care of myself. My whole life I went with the popular vote, the safe thing to do, I was a follower, I hated standing out, I hated being different. I would do my best to blend in. This led to me feeling totally unfulfilled, living on autopilot, always falling into things that were easy. My nursing career is very rewarding but I was searching for something more. When I joined Nerium, I made a decision for me. I did something that was totally out of my comfort zone. This decision has led to so many incredible adventures. I decided to do Personal Empowerment Training through Breath Integration and Counselling, I started a blog, I have met so many inspiring individuals along the way, I am building an international team of incredibly motivated like-minded individuals. I am growing every day into the woman I want to be. I am living life to the fullest. I want to inspire others to do the same, to wake up and seize the day. Not everyone can go out and start a traditional business. I love the fact that in my company it is a very low start up cost and potential to make your investment back quickly. I also love the culture of supporting each other to make people better. New experiences can be scary but also so exciting! Learning tools to move through fear and come from a place of love has been invaluable. Thank you for your consideration in featuring me in this publication. I am beyond grateful and humbled by the nomination.
