    Meet Preston, he is a family man, and local entrepreneur who has lived in the Okanagan for over a decade!  

    Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
    My wife, because she is my best friend, my business partner and the mother to my children.

    What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
    Gasoline Alley, (Harley Davidson,) because I grew up around motorcycles and my father always rode a bike.

    Describe yourself in one word.
    Generous

    If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
    Egypt, because that’s the place my wife and I both wanted to go from the very first day we met each other.

    What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
    Extreme sports

    What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
    My childhood haircuts and my childhood clothing…. don’t ask.

    What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
    Making a business plan for our future with my wife.

    Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
    Family camping trips, so many memories made.

    Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
    Our business does February fundraiser month where we pick a local charity, our running theme has been animal charities.

    If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
    Malnutrition in children across the globe

    Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
    Go for a ride to clear my head on my motorbike

    Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
    I like to see more shout outs in social media for local businesses.

    What do you think makes Kelowna great?
    There’s lakes and mountains. My children get to experience the best of both worlds!

    What are 3 things on your bucket list?
    My bucket list consists of eating good food, working hard, and being a good example for my children.

    Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
    Even though I am a ginger, I’m partially albino.

    Facebook.

    What is the name of your business/organization?
    Vertical Edge Window Cleaning

    Why did you get into/start this business?
    I was tired of being up north and watching my family grow in pictures, I realized that no matter what I do I will always be chasing money, but I couldn’t chase the time that I had lost.

    What is the goal of your business?
    To put quality and accountability back into workmanship across the Okanagan.

    What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
    Overcoming who I was as an adolescent and changing to become a better man for my wife, children, and niece.

    If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
    I would do things differently, I would’ve found my wife first and I wouldn’t of wasted all my time.

    What do you always find yourself saying?
    We need to make the job perfect no matter how long it takes.

    Tell us your best piece of life advice.
    To always go camping, I met my wife May long weekend camping and 2010 and it was the best thing I ever did.

    If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
    Eminem, because he’s my man crush.

    Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
    Because it keeps the local families blossoming and the local economy rolling.

    What has been your proudest accomplishment?
    The day my daughter was born, looking into her eyes for the very first time was the best moment in my life. Made me realize it’s not all about myself anymore.
