Melo my dog of course! He pushes me to be a better version of myself

Red Barn Market, for the sandwiches as well as their double smoked bacon!
Describe yourself in one word.
Hyper.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Disney Land, which is pretty obvious isn't it? I mean, It's Disney Land…
What is your favourite activity in Victoria?
Finding new places for adventures with Melo.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Your's first, LOL.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
My mother, every day I feel I can relate to her life story and struggles more and more. That understanding shows me how strong and amazing my mother really is. That is why I started my podcast "The Marcus Project" to learn about other peoples struggles.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Having our very own "mini sticks" room at our house in Ontario. It's every Canadian kid's dream to have an empty 15×20 room to play full contact knee hockey. Being three years younger than my brother, we had some good battles.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I would love to give back more, recently I joined my mother in helping her friend at George Jay Elementary with the breakfast program and it felt awesome to help out. Helping others is what gives me purpose.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Less work and more play, in all aspects of life.
Where would you sneak away to in Victoria to spend some time alone?
If I told you then everyone will go there!
Where would you like to see positive change in Victoria and why?
Motorist and cyclist relations, we all just need to get along.
What do you think makes Victoria great?
Geography and the weather.

What is the name of your business/organization?
The Marcus Project (my podcast).
Why did you get into/start this business?
I want to find something that I wanted to do every day that would not feel like work.
What is the goal of your business?
I started my podcast to inspire others and highlight human interest.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Consistency.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
No, I would not change my life experiences that have helped shape me.
What do you always find yourself saying?
That's wild.

Slow down and enjoy the little things in life….(I know a cliche right).
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Kendrick Lamar, his artistic vision is incredible!
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
I find customer service more engaging at local shops. I like to support the local economy.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
When strangers tell me how well behaved Melo is.
