Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My husband, Cody, because he makes me feel happy.
What is your favourite local store in Prince George and why?
Wasabi Sushi House, I eat there at least once a week (I might be addicted).
Describe yourself in one word.
Creative.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
Bora Bora, because it looks absolutely gorgeous!
What is your favourite activity in Prince George?
Practicing on the pole at Angel's Aerial Fitness.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
My husband accidentally opened a somewhat private/inappropriate Snapchat I sent him in front of my in-laws.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Having some world-class nail technicians compliment my work.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Skating in my backyard ice rink.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I'm usually so busy with my business, I rarely even find time to get out, unfortunately. I do, however, volunteer what little time I have to doing my family and friends nails for free, so they always look pretty and perfect!
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
Too many things to just pick one.
Where would you sneak away to in Prince George to spend some time alone?
Any lake near town.
Where would you like to see positive change in Prince George and why?
It'd be nice to see better and quicker road repairs.
What do you think makes Prince George great?
It's centrally located between all my favorite destination spots between BC & Alberta!

Go to Bora Bora & Greece.

I taught myself how to do nails.
How do people connect with you, personally, through social media?

What is the name of your business/organization?
Nails by Manna.
Why did you get into/start this business?
I enjoy it and used to do it for myself and my mother-in-law and sisters, and my father-in-law was so impressed he said I should do it for other people, and here I am four years later!
What is the goal of your business?
Nails by Manna is an extension of myself; to be the best and most creative nail tech, and to teach others how to improve and aspire like me. Eventually, I hope to evolve Nails by Manna into a full salon and nail school.
What has been your biggest struggle either in work or life?
Not enough sleep.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
Nothing, because despite many hardships growing up, if I didn't go through it all I wouldn't be where I am right now.
What do you always find yourself saying?
I need more sleep.
Tell us your best piece of life advice
If you want to do something, if you put enough effort into it, you'll be able to do it.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
I know this may be cliché, but I would spend it with my husband.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
It's important to shop locally to stimulate the local economy.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Winning 1st place in the "Extreme Shapes" category at a nail competition!

My girlfriend Kayla Bobbie for always being there as my nail model & nail guinea pig, no matter how little sleep she manages to get.
