Meet Kim Parkinson! Kim is a wellness coach that was born and raised right here in PG!
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
I actually have three, my husband Brodie, my son Ethan and my daughter Anna. Anything we get to do together as a family is special.
What is your favourite local store in Prince George and why?
Homework Prince George.
Describe yourself in one word.
Quirky.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go?
New Zealand.
What is your favourite activity in Prince George?
Camping.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
Having someone believe I could be an online wellness coach made me so inspired to do that for someone else!
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
I grew up seven achers outside of town, so my childhood was amazing! I love being able to roam around with no shoes with my siblings and just explore the property!
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I try and support local events and donate locally as much as I can.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
More lifting each other up instead of so much hate and bringing people down! We are all I this together let's build each other up!
Where would you sneak away to in Prince George to spend some time alone?
Cottonwood Island Park.
Where would you like to see positive change in Prince George and why?
More family activities because people's families are growing and more things for them to go do as a family would ideal!
What do you think makes Prince George great?
I actually love how amazing our community is! Each thing that comes to this town always has an amazing support group behind it.
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
1. Travel to New Zealand
2. Ride in a hot air balloon
3. Go scuba diving in Hawaii
Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
I have an identical twin.
How do people connect with you, personally, through social media?
Instagram and Facebook.
What is the name of your business/organization?
I'm a wellness coach through Beachbody.
Why did you get into/start this business?
I got into coaching to help myself get back on track with my health and fitness. As a busy mom of two and working full time, I needed something that I could add into my already busy life.
What is the goal of your business?
To keep learning and growing.
What has been your biggest struggle either in work or life?
Finding balance! I do this business part time so I struggling with balancing my time with the kids, my full-time job and being a wellness coach.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
The same, I feel we learn from our hardships we face and to keep learning from each one that comes our way.

Be present, moments pass you by so make sure to enjoy them when they are happening.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
My family. They are a huge support system for me and they are such amazing company.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
To support all the vendors! They have such great things to share with this community.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
To be able to be a full time working mom and be able to grow an online business.

Brodie Parkinson, he supports me in anything I set my mind on. I think that''s a huge reason why I know I can grow this business.
