Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
My mentor and friend Rudy. He’s always teaching me new things and pushing me to be a better person.
What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
Xchange Kelowna. I’m a huge foodie and they have some of the best in town.
Describe yourself in one word.
Excited
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
The Pacific Coast Highway. I love road trips, and that is the most beautiful drive in the world. Nothing beats that feeling of “just you, the road and your music.”
What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Surfing in the Summer
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
I got volunteered for a fitness competition that was happening between sets, on the beach at the US open a few years back. I almost fainted and 10,000 fans got to see my lunch.
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
A few years ago I was in fort mcmurray for the fires. I had to leave with only dufflebag and my car. It made me realize what’s important and inspired me to chase my dreams.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
Going to the outdoor rinks. The entire neighbourhood would show up and play hockey. Nobody kept score and we would play late into the night, only leaving when the lights went out.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I love the Mamas for Mamas organization. They are truly changing lives.
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
This sounds weird but, I would eliminate people’s fears of chasing their dreams. There are enough good ideas in the graveyard to solve all of the worlds problems.
Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Floating on the lake.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
Wage growth. Kelowna is an amazing place, and I would love to see the talented people around here achieve all of their dreams.

- Taking my entire family on a huge vacation together.

I once flew a fighter plane in a simulated “air combat” program over California.

925 Freelancing Inc
Why did you get into/start this business?
Two reasons: my family grew up impoverished and a while back my father passed while looking for work. I wanted to make something that helped people and helped make it easer for people to find work, or pay their bills.
What is the goal of your business?
To make it easier for people to get ahead and achieve their dreams.
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Finding a balance between work and family.
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
The exact same.
What do you always find yourself saying?

Tell us your best piece of life advice.
If you’re not spending your life making somebody elses life better, your wasting your time.
If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Neil Degrasse Tyson, he’s a hero of mine.
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
When you shop locally, your doing more than just supporting a local business person. You’re supporting your neighbours hopes and dreams.
What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Last year I was able to send a young man to a founders program to help him start his own business.
