(UDPATE: March 17 @ 11:50 am) – Crews were able to quickly deal with a vehicle incident that occurred on Hwy 97, south of Okanagan Falls.

As a result, the road is now open to single-lane alternating traffic.

The closure is just south of Okanagan Falls, says Drive BC.

Unfortunately, details regarding the closure are scarce at this moment.

An assessment is currently in progress and no estimated time of opening has been given.

No detour information is available either and Drive BC says to expect “major delays.”
