    UPDATE: Hwy 97 reopens after mudslide near Peachland

    (UPDATE: April 10 @ 10:30 pm) – Hwy 97 has reopened after a mudslide closed the road in both direction near the centre of Peachland.

    (Original story: April 10 @ 8:30 pm) – Hwy 97 is closed in both directions near the centre of Peachland.

    The closure is due to a mudslide between Ponderosa Drive and Princeton Avenue.

    A detour is currently available via Beach Avenue. 

    Motorists should be aware of traffic control personnel in the area.
