Once again, Hwy 33 will be closed for a number of hours today as crews continue work on the road.
The roadwork is in an effort to get ahead of issues that have been created by this year’s spring runoff.
The conditions already caused a major washout on Hwy 33 that caused the road to be closed for three days in April.
Today, the road closes at 7 a.m. and will stay that way until 5:30 p.m.
That closure is 8 kilometres east of Kelowna and a detour is available through Goudie Road.
DriveBC will provide an update on the closure at 4 p.m. if there are any unforeseen delays.
