In the latest episode of Business Matters, presented by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, host Rob Cupello sits down with Jeff Watson from Fly With Wine Canada.
Jeff and Rob delve into how he started his business, which specializes in products that allow you to travel and bring home your favourite wines.

On how Jeff started with Fly With Wine, he says it started in the USA. It's now been around for about eight years, appearing in over 400 wineries all over the world.
He says he just happened to be in Portland, Oregon on a business trip in 2022 and stumbled upon Fly With Wine while on social media. Being from the Okanagan, he went to buy one but wasn’t able to because it wasn’t available in Canada at the time.
He wrote an email to the company telling them about himself and his background, and asked about distribution and retailers in Canada.
That day, he hopped on a flight to Seattle and by the time he got there he had the CEO on the phone. Eight months later, they had an agreement for Fly With Wine Canada.
In the Okanagan, you can expect to see product at places like 50th Parallel Winery, Backdoor Winery, Phantom Creek and One Faith Vineyards.
