Goat yoga will no longer be coming to Prince George.

According to event organizer Simon Zukowski, goat yoga will no longer be scheduled for June 25 as previously planned.

Zukowski claims the insurance to hold the event was not feasible.

“The insurance company wanted to charge us around $1,250 for it, and there were additional costs associated with a vet check for the animals, which the insurers also required. The math just didn't work,” said Zukowski in a written statement.

In order to break even, 300 people would have had to attend the event and donate $5.  

“We were very disappointed that the insurance wasn't more reasonably priced,” writes Zukowski.

“Goat yoga will come to PG one day… I'm convinced and hope you will be there to be part of it.”

I guess we will all have to stick to regular yoga for the time being.
