One of the most iconic things to do during the summer in the Okanagan is to play a round of golf while enjoying blue skies and bright sunshine. The challenge is finding the right golf course that suits your lifestyle.

Shadow Ridge Golf Club makes golf easy. Located near the airport, this golf course is covered in beautiful trees and has a variety of green fee rates and memberships for you to choose from. 

“We all have such busy lives with work and families. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for people to get out here and enjoy the golf course,” said James Presnail, General Manager at Shadow Ridge Golf Club. “It’s relaxing and a nice way to unwind and spend your day with friends and family.”

While many people use golf carts to get around the more mountainous golf courses in the Okanagan, Shadow Ridge is quite flat. This provides a great opportunity to get a little exercise while enjoying an exciting round of golf. 

Golfers of all skill levels can truly enjoy the course because getting around is comfortable and there is a variety of holes to provide different challenges.— don’t worry, if you want to use a golf cart, they are available!

“Once people play here, they realize how challenging the golf course can be, but it’s also very easy as well if you don’t hit it a long way,” said James. “The golf course appeals to both skilled and unskilled golfers. It’s great recreation — I think the stat is around 7 to 10 km of walking so it’s good exercise.”

You can choose from an 18 hole or 9 hole round of golf — prices vary depending on time of day. With their new twilight rate, you can golf for only $29 after 3 p.m. — excluding special event days. For more information on their green fees and rental rates, click here.
