Overland Park Beach is becoming the new hotspot among Kamloops residents!

This sandy spot is located on the North Shore where the North and South Thompson meet.

This is the largest beach in Kamloops during the summer months so it’s no surprise why it’s always busy!

Families and friends have been flocking to this destination in an attempt to beat the serious summer heat we have been having.

Don’t be alarmed if you see a furry friend or two, the beach is dog-friendly.

The soft sand makes it the perfect beach to play all kinds of sports!

Don’t forget to bring your floatie! You’ll definitely want to go swimming.

Fun fact: New volleyball courts were installed this year!
