There has been fresh snowfall at Big White. 

The resort said that 6 cm fell overnight, bringing the seven-day total to 24 cm. 

That brings the snow base to 89 cm.

It’s a brisk –5ºC on the hill, but winds are light. 

The skies are overcast and visibility is limited. 

But there are 41 runs and nine lifts open.  

The Ridge Rocket will begin spinning today, from 8:45 am to 3:30 pm. 

On Dec. 14, meanwhile, Santa himself will be skating at Big White if anyone wants to enjoy some time on the ice with the big man himself.
