    Fire training set to take place at YXS

    Fire training is set to take place at the Prince George airport today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    The Prince George Airport Authority would like to remind the public that these fires pose no threat to the public of surrounding areas.

    All training fires are held in a self-contained training facility under controlled circumstances.

    While fires may produce smoke in and around the airport area, this should not cause any concern.

    Fire training was originally set to be held last week, however, due to the air advisory it was cancelled.
