Oyama Traditional School is hosting a fashion show and silent auction to raise funds to upgrade their school playground.

The event, which will also feature live music, takes place on Saturday, November 4th at the Oyama Community Hall.

Due to an increase in enrollment over the last few years, the current playground structure can no longer accommodate all of the students at the school.  The schoolyard also acts as the community playground after school hours and it's hoped that the funds will help provide the necessary upgrades.

Those that purchase tickets before October 30th will receive a complimentary glass of wine, and all proceeds raised at the event will go directly to the cause. Tickets cost $39 in advance or $45 on the door and include entry, food and a donation to the cause. Tickets can be purchased online at experientialtourism.ca/fierce or at the following stores: Intrigue Winery, The Oyama General Store, Invati Yoga, and Tina Louise.
