It looks like we have one more storm to look forward to this decade.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning, which calls for 20 to 30 centimetres of snow, mainly on the final day of 2019.
“A storm will track across British Columbia Monday night and Tuesday bringing heavy snow to the southern interior,” says the alert.
“Snow will begin Monday evening and intensify during the night. Snow will taper off and become mixed with rain Tuesday evening.”
The alert is in effect for the Central Okanagan, North Okanagan and Shuswap.
If you have to work on New Year’s Eve, make sure to give yourself an extra couple of minutes to scrape off and warm up the car in the morning!
