  • ELLA already 70% sold after only one weekend

Condo’s are selling fast and furious at one of downtown’s newest developments.

The presentation centre and sales for ELLA opened on Friday and 70% of the units have already been sold through the first 72 hours.

The Mission Group, who is responsible for the development, says that location and a hot real estate market have fueled sales.

“We had a lot of local buyers and most often they cited ELLA’s design, its WalkScore rating and the strength of Kelowna’s real estate market as reasons for buying,” said the Mission Group’s VP of sales and marketing, JoAnne Adamson.

The high-rise will feature contemporary one bedroom, two bedroom and two bedroom plus den units.

Located on the corner of Ellis Street and Lawrence Avenue in the heart of downtown, the future building has a WalkScore of 97, meaning you can do essentially everything without a car.

The first five floors of the building will be retail space and parking, meaning the homes won’t start until the sixth floor and will offer stunning views of the lake, Knox Mountain and downtown Kelowna.

ELLA’s presentation centre is now up and running on the corner of Bernard Avenue and Ellis Street, featuring a building model and an entire show home.
