  • Downtown road closures beginning next week

    Downtown PG will be undergoing a number of construction projects next week and as a result, there will be road closures.

    Utility operations associated with the new underground parkade and condominium project next to City Hall will create these temporary closures.

    Road closures include:

    • Patricia Boulevard will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians between Queensway and the entrance to City Hall. This will be in effect from July 9 to July 18.
    • The area of 7th Avenue in front of the Cenotaph will be closed to traffic from July 9 to Fall 2018. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

    During construction, access to City Hall will be provided from the west side of Patricia Boulevard and from 7th Avenue near Fire Hall 1.

    Throughout the summer, parts of 7th Avenue in front of City Hall will be fully closed including the intersection at 7th and Dominion and the intersection at 6th and George.

    Access to City hall will continue to be available from Patricia Boulevard.
