If you’re a fan of classic Pixar movies like Toy Story or The Incredibles, you’ll want to book a trip to Disneyland for next summer.
That’s when four brand new Pixar inspired neighbourhoods will open at Disney’s California Adventure Park, located right across the street from the iconic Disneyland.

The new part of the park, along the southern shore of Paradise Bay, will be called Pixar Pier.
Three of the themes will be based on The Incredibles, Toy Story and Inside Out, and the fourth will be a celebration of multiple popular Pixar stories.

In the fourth world, Mickey’s Fun Wheel will have a new look, with each of the 24 gondolas featuring different Pixar characters.
Unfortunately, the popular California Screamin’ ride will close on January 8th to prepare for the park’s transformation.

Ariel’s Grotto restaurant and Cove Bar will also close on the same date to be transformed into a new lounge and grills with spectacular views of Paradise Bay and the new Pixar Pier.
Pixar Pier will open during the limited-time Pixar Fest celebration, which begins on April 13th.
