In this episode of Business Matters, presented by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, host Rob Cupello is joined by Terry-Lynn Vint from Valley First.
Vint has been with Valley First for just over five years, and in her unique role as a business banking advisor, she discusses insight into her duties and what drove her into this position in the first place.
Vint’s journey into banking began as a means to support her children's sports activities. However, she quickly discovered a passion for connecting with people, learning about their financial requirements, and assisting them in achieving their goals.
Over time, her skills became applicable to her current role as a business banking advisor.
“In business banking, we look after their retail and personal lending and personal banking, as well as their commercial banking,” says Vint.
She works primarily with a range of self-employed professionals at various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, ranging from startups to seasoned entrepreneurs approaching retirement.
Valley First prides itself in offering banking advice not only to individuals in traditional professions such as doctors, lawyers, and engineers, but also to those in less conventional fields such as physiotherapists, registered nurses, and veterinarians.
At Valley First, teamwork is the foundation of exceptional client service. The collaborative approach ensures that every client's needs receive attention and comprehensive care.
Vint, in particular, takes immense pride in understanding her clients' desires and expectations from their banking relationship, and this allows her to tailor her support and assistance to help.
