Canadian country star Gord Bamford has announced a cross-Canada tour and it includes a stop in Kelowna.

The Neon Smoke tour will come to the Kelowna Community Theatre on Friday, March 2nd and Bamford will be bringing Aaron Goodvin along as support.

‘Neon Smoke’ is also the name of Bamford’s upcoming album, which will come out in 2018.

It’s his first album since he released ‘Country Junkie’ in 2013, which included the number one hit When Your Lips Are So Close.

The debut single from ‘Neon Smoke,’ Livin’ On Summertime, came out this year and broke the top 10 on the Canadian country music charts.
 

The follow up single, Ain’t It Grand, saw Bamford team up with Blue Rodeo frontman Jim Cuddy for a catchy, fun, ultra-Canadian tune.

“Each time I set out to make a new record my goal is to make the best record of my career and stay true to what has got me to where I am today” said Bamford.  

“I’ve had the opportunity of a lifetime making people all over the world sing, dance, laugh, cry & love through the power of song.”

Bamford says the 16-song ‘Neon Smoke’ album will take listeners on a musical journey.

Tickets are either $48.50 or $58.50, plus facility fees and service charges, and go on sale through the Prospera Place Box Office on Friday, November 3rd.
