It feels like Kelowna’s hot stretch from last week is in the distant past.
It’s currently 4°C in town with overcast skies and calm winds, forcing early birds to wear a little more as they head out the door to school or work.
However, the temperatures will get back to where they’ve been the last couple of days, in the high teens of lows 20s.
With that, however, comes a chance of showers later on in the day.
“We will see a mix of thin clouds and sun to start this morning but when a weak system moves in from the south, there will be a small chance of showers this afternoon or evening,” explains Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.
“Breezy at times tonight. Temperatures are cool this morning but will be back up in the upper teens or low 20s this afternoon.”
While sunscreen is always advised, you don’t have to worry as much today with a UV index of just 3.
You may want to grab an allergy pill on the way out the door though, as the pollen index is high once again.
Have a fantastic Thursday Kelowna, we’re almost at the weekend!
