Alright folks, try and name a pairing better than Bacon and Cider.
Although the Okanagan is famous for our amazing VQA wines, we are also known for another specialty, the apples and pears that grow in our valleys. With these perfect building blocks, we are crafting something else that is gaining recognition, our ciders and amazing, locally influenced cuisine. This is what inspired the valley's first BC Bacon & Cider Festival! This festival will host many local talents, such as Chef Bernard Casavant and his culinary students at Okanagan College. They will be whipping up an array of dishes, served tapas style to ensure that you get a little bit of everything! Did we mention every food item is inspired by bacon?
This event is taking place April 28th at the Laurel Packing House. KelownaNow is working in conjunction with the BC Bacon & Cider Festival to give away two tickets for this sold-out event to one lucky winner! To enter, simply fill out the form below. The winner will be drawn on Wednesday, April 26th and the tickets can be picked up from our downtown office.
You must be 19 years or older to win.
Please keep it to one entry per person, thank you!
