Flower Power is back on June 18th, offering gardeners and those who love flowers and edibles a chance to wander through the yards of nine private gardens.
The annual garden tour is self-guided, giving attendees an opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens at their leisure and several guest experts are in attendance at some of the locations, offering up great advice and insight for guests. Flower Power has a little something for everyone!
The tour will help support the Chefs in the Classroom program in Kelowna. The program sees professional chefs volunteer their time, visiting the classroom to teach the children about plant growth, agriculture, sustainability, and nutrition. As well as the Central Okanagan Community Gardens who help neighbourhoods and communities create sustainable green spaces for gardening, food production, gathering, and education.
