It’s another cool start to the day in Kelowna and it won’t get much warmer as the day goes on.

Even as the clouds clear up throughout the day, Kelowna’s high temperature will be lucky to get much past 10 today.

"More clouds to start but we will see clearing with sunshine by this afternoon,” explains NowMedia meteorologist, Wesla English.

“We remain under a cool air mass, and daytime highs will be near the low double digits. With a clear night ahead, expect a chilly start for Friday morning.”

It may be cooler, but that sunshine this afternoon is definitely something to look forward to.

Environment Canada evens calls for a bit warmer temperatures under the sun for the start of the long weekend as well, so you can look forward to that too!
