Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) has announced a North American fall tour that will see him hit 13 cities throughout the month of September.
The tour begins in Atlanta on Sept. 6 and will culminate with a show right here in B.C. on Sunday, Sept. 30.
That show will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and tickets go on sale on Friday through Ticketmaster.
Coming along for the ride as his opening act will be hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, whose song Black Beatles reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2016.
The show will be Gambino’s first in B.C. since the release of his third studio album “Awaken, My Love!” in late 2016.
The album was a far cry from Gambino’s previous music, but showcases his wide array of talents as a musician.
Both Gambino and Rae Sremmurd are known for their live performances, making this a shoe in to be one of the best shows of 2018 for hip-hop fans.
