  • Chefs, celebrities and more react to the shocking passing of Anthony Bourdain

    For the second time this week, the world was shocked by the suicide of a beloved public figure.

    On Monday, it was Kate Spade who took her own life in Manhattan and today, it was Anthony Bourdain who was found dead inside his hotel room in Strasbourg, France.

    As people around the world woke up to the news, the tributes quickly started to pour in.

    From chefs to celebrities to fans, there were two common themes in the messages written about Bourdain today.

    The first is that he made a major impact on people’s lives, bringing a whole new world of culture and cuisine into their homes.

    The second is that mental health does not discriminate and can affect anyone, even those who seem the happiest or seem to have it all.
