The first-place Mt. Boucherie Bears will put their high-flying offence up against the stingiest defence in the Okanagan AAA senior boys soccer on Wednesday (3:30 p.m.) at Kelowna Secondary School.

Meanwhile, the Owls have yet to give up a goal after playing the Rutland Voodoos to a scoreless tie in their opener and defeating the winless Salmon Arm Gold 8-0 in their second game.

Alberto Zanotto added a third Boucherie goal in the second half off a pass from Josh Clancy while Attila Knaitner rounded out the Bears’ scoring off a corner kick.

At KSS, high-quality passing sequences by Emilio Aguiar, Gregor Smith and Chris West led to each of them scoring twice for the Owls against Salmon Arm. Karlen Speiser and Nic Bigattini added a goal apiece while Arian Afsher and Kolton Wyatt shared the goalkeeping shutout.

James Harris, coming in as a substitute 20 minutes into the game, set up two goals quickly and the Voodoos never looked back.

While Boucherie will visit KSS on Wednesday, the Voodoos play host to Salmon Arm beginning at 4 p.m. and OKM buses to Kamloops to take on NorKam.
