  • Blazers take 2-0 series lead after win over the Vancouver Giants

    The Kamloops Blazers were in action on Saturday, this time for game two against the Vancouver Giants at the Sandman Centre. 

    Kamloops extended their playoff win streak to six games after knocking off the Giants by a score of 4-3. Dylan Garand made 23 saves on 26 to secure the W. 

    In the first period, Drew Englot gave the Blazers a 1-0 lead midway through the frame. Vancouver quickly scored twice to take a 2-1 lead into the second. 

    The Blazers scored three unanswered goals in the second thanks to the likes of Connor Levis, Caeden Bankier and Daylan Kuefler. 

    Vancouver got one back, though it was too little, too late. 

    Kamloops is now up two games to none in the series. They now head to Vancouver for games three and four on Tuesday and Thursday respectively.
