The weekend wraps up today and so does a lot of people’s extended holiday break.

Well, Mother Nature delivered a nice treat for those who will spend the day on the slopes, as Big White is reporting 10 centimetres of new snow over the past 24 hours.

The forecast is calling for more snow today as well.

The fresh powder comes with calm wind, high overcast skies and limited visibility, as well as a balmy temperature of -1°C this morning.

There are 109 runs open, 54 of which are groomed, and 16 lifts spinning to get you around the mountain.

Big White’s alpine snow base is up to 137 cm and there has been 240 cm of cumulative snowfall since the start of the season.
