There’s been no new snow at Big White over the past week, but that will likely change over the next few days.
Precipitation is heading into the Okanagan Valley and that means snow at Big White, starting with a projected 2-5 centimetres today.
The snow will continue tonight but taper off on Thursday, but it’ll return with a vengeance on Friday.
The forecast calls for 5-10 cm on Friday, followed up by even more snow on Saturday and Sunday, which should have skiers and snowboarders quite excited.
For now, the alpine snow base sits at 172 cm and there are 72 runs open at Big White.
Currently, it’s -1°C up at the hill with calm winds, overcast skies and unlimited visibility.
Conditions are always changing on the mountain so be sure to stay up to date by checking the daily snow report on Big White’s website.
