You can now enjoy a Beyond Meat treat all day long at A&W.

The fast-food chain's brand new plant-based breakfast sandwich is now available at locations across Canada.

Like their Beyond Meat Burger that’s been so popular since launching last summer, the new breakfast sandwich will be called the Beyond Meat Sausage & Egger.

“I was lucky enough to try it this morning and I’m blown away by the flavour and texture,” said Jillian Harris in an Instagram post.

The plant-based patty tastes and feels like sausage, but like all Beyond Meat products, there’s no meat involved.

It’s made up of all natural ingredients with no genetic modifications and no artificial flavours.

You still get your protein courtesy of sunflower seed protein, mungbean protein, peat protein and brown rice protein, says Brown.

Harris, Erin Ireland and other social media influencers got a chance to taste test the new product in late February with A&W CEO Susan Senecal and Beyond Meat CEO Ethan Brown.

All parties involved gave rave reviews of what’s being called the world’s first plant-based sausage and will only be available at A&W.

“I am blown away by A&W’s innovative spirit,” Ireland said on her own Instagram post.

A&W serves breakfast all day long, which means you’ll be able to try the new product at any time of the day.
