BDO, an international accountancy network, has extended their Presenting Sponsorship agreement for another two years with Kelowna-based On The Lawn powered by BDO. A unique, step-back-in-time lawn bowling tournament, the firm has helped raise over $29,000 over the past two years for local charity, Elevation Outdoors.

The out-of-the-box event began in 2015 and was a first for the Okanagan. “We started On The Lawn because we wanted to use our skills for good and create an event that was different and popular with a younger demographic in other countries,” says On The Lawn Director, Daylin Mantyka. “BDO has been incredibly supportive right from the start. They signed on in 2015 as Presenting Sponsor — even though the event was unproven in Kelowna.”

For three consecutive weeks starting July 27th at the Kelowna Lawn Bowling Club in City Park, young professionals in Kelowna will gather to bowl, network, and support Elevation Outdoors.
