It’ll be another hot day in Kelowna, but it won’t be just sunshine this time.

According to NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English, we’ll see a mix of sun and cloud and there could even be some showers later in the day.
 

“Expect a bit of everything today – sun and cloud, but weak instability will also bring the risk of afternoon showers and/or thundershowers,” she said.

“Daytime highs will reach near 30°C once again today.”

Kelowna’s UV reading is expected to hit seven today, which is considered high, so even if there are some clouds out there, sunscreen is advised.

Expect daytime highs to stay around 30°C on Friday and throughout the weekend.
