    Amazing Race Canada kicks off in Victoria

    The Amazing Race Canada: Heroes Among Us officially kicked off in Victoria.

    This season, 10 teams were brought down to the Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University in Colwood on Monday to kick off the show live.

    This season focuses on everyday heroes including teachers, families, activists, volunteers or first responders.

    “The people that are here are the embodiment of what the race is all about. Doing it with a partner and collaborating to achieve a bigger goal. These people do it every day,” said Jon Montgomery.

    Amazing Race Canada: Heroes Edition is set to premier later this year.
