Although she’s well known for speaking out about the gender gap in Hollywood, Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t have much to complain about this year.

According to Forbes' lists of highest paid actors and actresses, she banked $52 million in 2015, landing her second overall to Robert Downey Jr. with a whopping $80 million.
Thanks to his roles as Iron Man, Downey reportedly made more than any other actor for the third year in a row and recorded his highest ever annual payday.
Lawrence made far more than any other actress for her lead role in The Hunger Games trilogy. She also did well with her role in Joy, earning her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. She also signed a huge Dior contract recently.
Jackie Chan, made $50 million in 2015, mostly through movies and brand deals in China, although he’ll be voicing a character in "Kung Fu Panda 3" and star opposite Johnny Knoxville in "Skiptrace.”
Vin Diesel made $47 Million, his highest paycheck ever, through the seventh installment of Fast and Furious.
Lawrence’s Joy co-star Bradley Cooper raked in $41.5 Million for Aloha and American Sniper and his production company with Todd Phillips.

Next was Scarlett Johansson, as the only other lady to make the top ten, with $35.5 million, through her role in Avengers and endorsement deals with Dolce & Gabbana and Sodastream.

People may be surprised to know that many ultra-famous female stars make just a fraction of what their male counterparts bank.
Jennifer Aniston, for instance, made $16.5 million, as the fifth highest paid actress in the world. Reese Witherspoon was number eight, with $15 million and Anne Hathaway was number nine with $12 million.
With multiple movies out last year, and a deal with Revlon, Emma Stone was the 16th highest paid actress with $6.5 million, just one-sixth of what her Aloha co-star Cooper made.
