It feels like before the stores can even put away their Christmas decor they are already dripping with red, pink and heart shaped decor.
There are several ways to decorate for the holiday of love, and it doesn’t have to look like Cupid threw up all over your house!

Valentine’s decor, when done right, can look quite tasteful and stylish! The key is to go for quality over quantity. Another thing to remember, it doesn’t have to be ruby red, heart shaped or covered with lips to be considered holiday decor.
Lucky for you, blush tones are huge for spring 2018, so even after the holiday is over, feel free to keep rocking the pink!

Here are some tips to keeping your space modern this February 14th!
1. Pink, blush or rose; It’s all golden!
Adding a few pink tea towels, blush tone ceramics, a new piece of art or even pink plant pots will give a festive feel to your space, without going overboard.

2. Black beauty
We aren't all fans of pink, and that's okay! Black can be a classy option of decor, if done right! Chalkboards are an easy way to script cute messages in a colourless space.

3. Can't commit?
If you can't commit to 28 days of love themed decor in your space, you can always be festive for just one day! Local online shop, Joonie and Joe, have some super cute party supplies that you can use for just one day. Come February 15th, poof! You're back to life as normal.
And can we talk about how amazing these festive cookies are from Sprinkle and Whisk?!

Holiday decor is what you make it; it doesn't always have to be over the top or cheesy.
Whatever your home may look like, there is something for every space to get into the Valentine's Day spirit. Happy love month!
