  • 5 things to do this weekend in Kelowna

If you're like many other people in Kelowna, the weekend for you is all about enjoying the city at your own leisurely pace. Maybe you’ll head to a new to you local restaurant, support our small business owners or check out a fun community event. No matter what you may get up to, Kelowna always has something fun to do on your days off.

If you want to get out and about this weekend but aren't sure where to start, here is a list of great things we think you should check out on your weekend excursions.

    Cool Off

With all the heat the Okanagan has been seeing, and having the beaches been closed, it's been a warm start to the summer. However that has all changed, with beaches reopening earlier this week and Wibit water park open for business, you can spend your weekend cooling off in the lake.

This Saturday at Tugboat Bay, you can join forces alongside close to 400 other locals and help raise awareness and funds to bring clean drinking water to those who need it. This six kilometer walk, run or wheel event is a great way to enjoy the sunshine and the beauty of Kelowna all the while supporting a great cause. Registration is still open online! Bonus: Those who register are offered admission to see Dean Brody perform on the Island Stage following the walk.
