The countdown is on for the Level Up AI Summit which is nearly two weeks away and will feature numerous speakers in Kelowna to discuss the future of business.
In anticipation of the event, NowMedia video host Jim Csek was joined by Scott Dedels and John Ely of Block Rewards.
“It (AI) is a bigger thing, a more transformative thing than the Internet by far, for its time, and it's going to affect everything,” said Dedels.
The trio discussed various AI platforms, services, products and the different programs they use on a day-to-day basis, especially in the world of cryptocurrencies.
“The number of tools coming out is fantastic and as everyone knows, these models are just getting bigger and bigger and better and better… they're all sort of leapfrogging each other,” explained Ely when asked what AI programs he uses.
The trio then urged the importance of attending the summit no matter what profession someone is in.
“Regardless of what it might mean for your profession or your company, this is something that everybody needs to have a base understanding of what's going on, how fast it's going on and how it might impact,” added Dedels.
“If you're just gonna choose to try to ignore it entirely, that's not going to do you very well.”
