The Kamloops Blazers beefed up their blue line depth on Tuesday.
The club acquired 2005-born defenceman Sam Borschowa from the Moose Jaw Warriors.
Heading the other way is an eighth-round pick in the 2027 WHL prospects draft.
The 18-year-old has played 18 career WHL games with Moose Jaw, including three this year, and has yet to record a point.
In 35 games with the SJHL’s Notre Dame Hounds, the blue liner has two goals and seven assists.
The McTaggart, Sask. native will join the Blazers this week and be available to play in the team’s next home game on Friday against the Red Deer Rebels.
