    Homicide investigation launched after 4 people found dead in Prince Rupert home

    Police say a homicide investigation is in its early stages after a grisly discovery in Prince Rupert on Tuesday.

    Prince Rupert RCMP were called to the 100 block of Silversides Drive around 9 pm for a report of four people found dead inside a home.
     


     

    “We are currently working alongside Major Crimes to conduct a thorough investigation,” explained Cst. Brody Hemrich.

    Hemrich noted that the names of the victims will not be released at this time.

    Police do not believe there are any outstanding suspects or any further risk to the public.

    Anyone with information regarding the deaths is urged to contact the RCMP.
