The Kamloops Blazers have traded Forward Vaughn Watterodt and an eighth-round pick to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

The 17-year old Rosetown, SK native returns to his home province after two seasons in Kamloops, after being picked by the club in the sixth round of the 2019 draft. Watterodt previously spent time with the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League prior to beginning his stint with Kamloops in the 2020-2021 season
Appearing in 18 contests for the Blazers, Watterodt recorded two assists and 14 penalty minutes.
Kamloops’ roster now stands at 22 players including 13 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.
